1st Brazilian company certified to supply the Korean petrochemical market
In August, we obtained another important approval in an international certification process, from KGS (Korea Gas Safety).
As a result, Engemasa became the first Brazilian company to be certified to supply heat exchangers to the Korean petrochemical and refinery market in accordance with the API 560 standard, valid until August 2026.
The whole process took approximately 6 months and was carried out in 4 main stages:
– Preparation for the start of the process in consultation with KGS
– Analysis and technical review of the documentation by KGS
– On-site audit of Engemasa by KGS
– Registration with the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
